- 1 cup sweet potato puree
- 1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
- 1/4 cup peanut butter (xylitol free)
- 1 3/4 cups coconut flour
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix sweet potato puree, apple sauce, and peanut butter.
- Stir in the egg until combined.
- Gradually add coconut flour, mixing until a dough forms.
- Flour a surface with coconut flour. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness.
- Cut into desired shapes using cookie cutters.
- Place treats on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until firm and lightly browned.
- Let treats cool completely before giving to your dog.
Notes
- Ensure peanut butter does not contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
- Store treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks or in the refrigerator for up to 4 weeks.
- You can substitute pumpkin puree for sweet potato puree.
